About the event
We will be reading Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother's Will to Survive: by Stephanie Land - In her unstinting memoir - a portrait of working-class poverty in America - Land scrapes by on $9 an hour cleaning houses to support herself and her young daughter.
Our Brunch November Book Club will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5th at 9:30 AM. CASA will be providing the food and drinks. We will have coffee punch and a pot of the hot stuff that you can add flavors too if you prefer that. I hope that you will be able to join us.
